Anyone can write. Let's just get that out in the open. I'm serious – anyone can write. But not everyone can write wisely. If no one is reading what you are writing, you might as well be standing on a street corner talking to yourself. The idea of taking a non-credit English course did not appeal to me so I set out to learn everything I could about grammar before my placement test. My college advisor said I got the highest score on record for the English placement test – proving you're never too old to learn good grammar!
